Convert MPEG2/MPEG4 video to DICOM
With the relatively new MPEG2 and MPEG4 transfer syntaxes, Video became a part of the DICOM standard. Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Laparoscopy and Ophthalmology procedures, OR procedures documentation, all use video more and more.
If you are worried about your existing hardware being too weak to handle video to DICOM conversion, don’t. Video does require computer memory resources, due to the large size of its files, but thanks to RZDCX Fast Strike DICOM Toolkit latest version, DICOMIZER 5.0 converts video to DICOM with just a fraction of your computer memory. Even the video you’ve just recorded using your webcam.
**Not all PACS support the MPEG2/MPEG4 transfer syntaxes. If yours doesn’t, you can still enjoy the many benefits of DICOMIZER 5.0 including Video-to-DICOM by using the Local Archive.
Local Archive feature – You can now manage your DICOM studies using DICOMIZER 5.0 new Local Archive. The Local Archive helps you categorize and control the location of your files. DICOMZER 5.0 can instantly import and catalog studies from any folder.
**To enable this feature, go to Local Archive > Settings > Local Archive configuration > mark ‘Use Local Archive’.
History View – The new History View provides instant access to the latest viewed DICOM files, DICOM CD’s and performed procedure just like in your internet browser.
