Challenges
Clalit was looking for a secure and reliable system to serve as the main portal for their Imaging service providers. These providers are covering the country with 100’s of point of service locations providing imaging services to all Clalit’s customers as close as possible to their residence location and shorten the wait for service. This service was based on physical media delivered to the patient usually takes ~20-30 minutes to create a CD media that was delivered by the patient himself. This method was not reliable and the cycle was not a managed process. In many cases they need to return the process due to loss of information.
Solution
The solution that H.R.Z. with our Security infrastructure partner, SecureNet, provide to Clalit is based on bi-directional Vault Infrastructure provides a managed secured access to Clalit Partner Portal and DICOM Protocol Boundary with local PACS, H.R.Z. HL7Kit 2018, serving as temporary storage for the information validation time. The Vault Infrastructure at Clalit site contains the following components: Content Filtering, Heart-Bit and WEB Based Management System.
Content Filtering provide file clearance according to Clalit’s requirements, Heart-Bit monitors remote sites availability and the Management System is displaying graphics representation of the system including remote sites, Alarms and deep dive to identify issues.
